After 21 incredible years working alongside his brother David, RГ©mi now leads the full running of Maison Mayci. This cafГ© has always been about passion, tradition, and a love for authentic artisan baking, and that will never change.
Heart and craft stay upstairs. Much-loved bread, cakes and patisserie are still made fresh in-house every day. The refurbishment is complete, so the room you sit in is calmer, greener and ready for a longer stay.
A refreshed menu stays true to those roots while offering something new to discover. Thank you to customers and staff, past and present. Whether you have been here from the start or have only just found the door, the house would not be the same without you.

Maison Mayci has been featured by The Guardian, Independent Birmingham, Birmingham Mail and a number of online publications. David and Rémi competed on ITV’s Britain’s Best Bakery, finishing second in the national finals in 2014, and on Bake Off: The Professionals in 2022, finishing fourth.
